Can the mantles operate continuously for 24/7 distillation?

Yes. Our industrial series (Danlogitech Heavy Duty) is rated for continuous operation. We recommend the Digital PID series for long-term cycles to ensure thermal stability and safety shut-off in case of power fluctuation.

Is it possible to use flat-bottom beakers?

No. Standard heating mantles are designed strictly for Round Bottom (RB) Flasks to ensure surface contact.

For flat-bottom glassware, please inquire about our Danlogitech Hot Plates or custom-formed heating blocks.

What happens if chemicals spill into the mantle?

Our heating nets are made of high-quality fiberglass which is chemically inert to most organic solvents. Additionally, the heating element is spaced to prevent short-circuiting. We recommend immediate power-off and dry-cleaning for safety.
